The ghosts and goblins will be out and about before you know it…Halloween is just around the corner. This year it’s falling on a Saturday, so Friday, October 30 will be a great day for a party. Then send the kids home all hyped up on sugar to let the parents know what your life is like all day. (Okay, maybe that’s not such a great idea.)

As you know, kids AND adults love Halloween, so spend a little time planning some fun activities, and you’ll be loved by kids and parents alike.
Here are some ideas:
- Host a costume party. You can have the kids bring their costumes from home, or make new ones. Help the kids make masks of their favorite scary animal, then let them march around in a parade pretending to be that animal.
- Read Halloween books and tell spooky stories.
- Play silly Halloween songs like “The Monster Mash” and have a dance party!
- Make decorations they can take home. Here’s some websites packed full of great ideas.
- Sing some Halloween songs. Here’s a great place to find some: http://www.kididdles.com/lyrics/spookysongs.html
