How hard is it to get financing on a new daycare center if you have no equity? My friend is already licensed for a home daycare but we want to open up a child care center and are unsure where to start when it comes to funding it. Can anyone provide imput on this? Thank You! In desperate need of answers.   Cheesy

It can be challenging to secure funding, but the main sources are usually:

1) Friends or family
2) Bank loan / Small Business Admin. loan
3) Grants

For any of these, you will want to prepare a business plan and have a financial statement for both your personal profile as well as an estimated profit/loss or income statement for the business.  There are several good examples of daycare business plans you can find out on the web if you Google that.  I hope this helps!

I am also trying to get a daycare center going to accomidate 30 - 50 children but it seems that I can only put it into the old part of town. Old buildings that are historical and no place outside for the children to play. zoning sucks.
funding is so hard to find in grants. any help out there Sad
