I'm really curious to know from anyone else who visits this forum what (if anything) you should do when watching children that are too sick to be in your daycare.  I have parents dropping-off children that are far too sick to be in my home.  Where does everyone draw the line.  Please help!

In my contract I tell my parents my rules on sick children. No fevers of 101 or higher, throwing up, lose stolls or if they are contagious ( more then likely a Dr. has told them to be out for so long of a time. The every day cold and other things are contaguous days before they show they are sick, so this can be hard. I also believe if the child can not be part of the activities for the day then they should be at home. I have other children that need my care. And if a sick child needs your one on one all day you can not take care of your other children. I explain this to my parents and have not had much problems.  [/quote]
