What else can I do

I am a new home daycare provider and I think I have all the bases covered when it comes to marketing my buisness, I have the website,buisness cards,email address and have talked to my local daycare centers, even have a car magnet but I can't seem to get any hits on my web site or any inquiry phone calls, is there anything I can do differently or is there anything else I can do to get me started? Thanks in advance for your help or suggestions.

A few ideas:

- List your daycare with the secretaries/admin offices at your local elementary schools.  "Bribe" them with cookies & baked goods several times a year so they don't forget you!

- Do a refer-a-friend program with the parents you currently have as clientele.  Offer a tuition discount or gift card for every family they refer who enrolls with you.

- Contact the major employers near you & ask their Human Resources person if you can hang a flyer for your daycare in their employee lounge or lunchroom.

- Pay a nominal fee to get your daycare listed in the many online directories that have daycare search.  Daycare.com, DaycareHotline.com, and DaycareMatch.com are three good ones.

do you have a child care finder program in your area.

Ask your department of family services if there is and if so register with them.

They help alot of families find daycares around the USA.
